With a phenomenal athletic coaching record which includes: 203 wins, 101 losses and one tie; Coach Charles Brown's legacy is one which places him on a platform to compete with some of the world's greatest coaches.
Recently, the Prairie View Chapter of Top Ladies and Top Teens stepped it up a notch for “Heart Month”, as the organization honored the First Ladies of area churches. By honoring both the First Ladies and Heart Month, the Top Ladies and Top Teens were able to fulfill three of its five thrust namely, the Status of Women, Community Partnerships and Senior Citizens through the Go Red event.

It is mind boggling to see that absolutely nothing has been done to correct the poorly designed and dangerous death traps at the Loop 610 East/Kirkpatrick exits and entrances that have already killed people, even though many news stations have covered the fatal accidents that have occurred at these locations.

With the large number of candidates seeking to run for President of the United States in the 2020 presidential election, the momentum created by each of these candidates who basically will be running against the POTUS, has all of the possibilities of greatness for America.
I am often quick to remind such people, “God did not give us diabetes or high blood pressure, but they exist.” Many people live with physical ailments like diabetes and high blood pressure and if these ailments go untreated, they become life threatening.
Barbara Faye Wilrich was born March 31, 1927 in Montgomery, Texas to Tommie Ward and Angie Hatchett-Ward. She attended school in the Montgomery County Public School District until 1941 when her family relocated to Houston in the Acres Home area
Herbert Winston Johnson was born on August 8, 1946 to the union of Herbert and Katie Mae Johnson in Houston, Texas. He received his formal education from George Washington Carver High School in Houston, Texas.
