Commissioner Ellis’s Statement on Passing of Jon Lindsay
“I’m saddened by the passing of former Harris County Judge and my former colleague in the Texas Senate, Jon Lindsay. Lindsay devoted decades of his life to public service, including 20 years as Harris County Judge and one term representing our community in the Texas Senate. He was known as a true statesman and gentleman among his peers, earning respect and friendships on both sides of the aisle. His accomplishments, including the creation of the Harris County Toll Road Authority, will continue to positively affect Harris County for years to come. My heart is with his family and loved ones.”
