TODAY IS ELECTION DAY — Polls open until 7 PM

Election Day for the Primary Runoff has arrived, and the polls are open until 7 PM tonight.

Every call, every conversation, every hour volunteered comes down to today. If you have not voted yet, make your plan and go vote. Dallas County voters can cast a ballot at any Vote Center countywide.

If you already voted, help bring one more person with you. Text a friend. Call a family member. Remind someone their vote still matters.

If you are in line by 7 PM, stay in line. You have the right to vote.

Let’s finish strong.

Forward Together,

Kardal Coleman

Bring ONE acceptable photo ID:

  • Texas Driver License, Personal ID Card, Election ID Certificate, or Handgun License

📨 HOLDING A MAIL BALLOT? ACT NOW

If you have a mail ballot you have not returned, today is your last chance — and the safest way to make it count is to hand-deliver it.

  • Hand-deliver it yourself to the Dallas County Elections Office by 7:00 PM today. You must bring photo ID, and you may deliver only your own ballot.
  • Do not drop it in a mailbox now. Under current USPS rules, a ballot mailed today may not be postmarked today — and an untimely postmark means it will not count.

Questions about a mail ballot? Call the Mail Ballot Information Line:

214-819-6359.

⚖️ KNOW YOUR RIGHTS AT THE POLLS

  • You may bring written notes and a printed sample ballot into the booth.
  • If you are in line by 7 PM, you must be allowed to vote — stay in line.
  • You may request language assistance, disability assistance, or curbside voting, and bring an assistant of your choice.
  • If your eligibility is questioned, you have the right to cast a provisional ballot.
  • Inside the voting area: no phone use while voting, no photos or recording, and no campaign apparel within 100 feet of the entrance.
