Harris Health will host a Health and Wellness Fair at Harris Health Strawberry Health Center with a last-minute push to vaccinate children for the start of school and provide some with free school supplies.

WHY:
The health fair will offer a variety of health services including pediatric immunizations, blood pressure screenings, vision tests, dental checks and diabetic foot exams. School physicals will be available on a limited basis. Additionally, the first 225 school-aged children will receive free backpacks and assorted school supplies. The Houston Food Bank will also provide free food to families attending while supplies last. For mammogram screenings, attendees must schedule appointments in advance by calling 281-454-0913.
