President Trump’s Administration is creating a schizophrenic environmental mentality in American culture. Too many Americans are proclaiming that they believe in constitutional democracy while practicing White Privilege Autocracy. Consequently, negative self-talk is on the rise in American society, resulting in fear of the truth. Fear brings about spiritual and moral decay in society. The world is moving toward the future. President Trump has America in reverse going back towards the past, creating hell and destruction along the way. The Biblical stories of Sodom and Gomorrah are a stark reminder; never look back at the sins of the past, because the consequences are deadly. The past belongs to the devil. It was imperfect, and full of hell and destruction. The future belongs to God, possessing unlimited possibilities. America, we should never forget that God sees all, and knows all: “Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and cannot look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he? (Habakkuk 1: 13). Habakkuk was an individual who sought answers from God. Therefore, Habakkuk asked God why the wicked was not being punished. God told Habakkuk, it is my appointed time: “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” (Habakkuk 2: 3). In America, evil individuals may escape punishment from others; but not from God, who is always angry with the wicked. Glory to God. America, GOP Christian Right Evangelical ignorance is off-the-chart, because they are not saddened by governmental evil, but have embraced it for the love of power, money, and racialized privilege. The real spiritual question is where is America headed?
The GOP wants Elon’s campaign contributions but not his controversial toxic public image. What an ungodly shame. America, all money is not good money because of the price tag attached to the money. To America’s detriment, President Trump speaks, not as the de facto democratic leader of the free world, but as a Fox “FAKE” News political commentator full of right-wing ignorance, confusion, hell, and destruction. It is past time for Christian Right Evangelicals to have a little talk with Jesus, get right with God, acquire a good understanding, learn to keep God’s commandments, and above all: “Get wisdom, get understanding, forget it not; neither decline from the sords of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing: therefore, get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.” (Proverbs 4: 5-7). Christian Evangelical Right-wing spiritual ignorance has American society on a malnutrition of the brain pathway of self-destruction. To obtain wisdom, one needs to actively seek it. Engage in positive self-talk, as life changes quickly and tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. Therefore, why put off for tomorrow what we can do today, get right with God now, and embrace TRUTH.
