Joseph O. Goffney II

Joseph O. Goffney II, the son of Joseph Goffney and Dr. LaTonya M. Goffney, passed away on the evening of Wednesday, March 6 surrounded by his family and loved ones. Joe Junior, as he was affectionately called, was a senior at the Lane School in Aldine ISD. His mother currently serves as the district’s Superintendent of Schools and his father is the pastor of God’s Restoration Revival Center Holiness Church in Coldspring and is a teacher in Spring ISD.

“He brought so much joy to so many people,” said LaTonya Goffney. “Every day was a reminder of how God will sustain and nurture you even in the most trying times. I am blessed to be his mother.”

In addition to his mother and father, he leaves sister, Joslyn, 14 to cherish his memories.
