Too many Americans believe that might makes right, because they are spiritually blind. Without a doubt, Donald J. Trump is one of the greatest proponents of this fool hearty philosophical principle. However, God says: “Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” (Zechariah 4: 6). The life of Jesus is a spiritual reminder that the Kingdom of God
cannot be established with physical weapons of warfare when he told Peter: “Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (Matthew
26: 52).
Individuals can have physical sight, but are spiritually blind, and vice versa. In the Gospel of Mark Jesus encountered a physically blind beggar, Bartimaeus, as he was leaving Jericho,
sin city. Bartimaeus was only physically blind, not spiritually blind deep in sin. Bartimaeus had heard about Jesus and was waiting for Jesus by the roadside. When Jesus came by Bartimaeus
yelled Son of David, and Jesus answered: “What wilt thou that I should do unto thee?” (Matthew 10: 51). “The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.”
(Mark 10: 51-52). Isn’t it amazing that in the 21st century, individuals that have physical sight can be so spiritually blind to a sinful carnal-minded male, such as Donald J. Trump. A carnal minded male is someone without a God Conscience. Christian Right Evangelicals, The GOP, White Nationalists, Fox “FAKE” News, and some spiritually misguided Blacks and other minorities open your spiritual eyes and allow the light of God to prevail in your life, because: “If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: but if
we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.” (1 John 1: 6-8). Donald J. Trump is a classic spiritual example of an individual that has lied to himself as well as others time after time.
Too many Americans have become spiritually blinded by sin and corruption in high places when God has asked us to hold fast, and to become a living sacrifice to Him: “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
