Epic Records celebrates six nominations at the 68th GRAMMY® Awards, taking place in February 2026, including albums from GIVĒON and Yolanda Adams, hits from Tyla and Zara Larsson, and special recognition acknowledgment for Sade and Eddie Benjamin
The nominations for next year’s 68th GRAMMY® Awards have been revealed, and the Epic Records family is well-represented with six nominations and special recognitions across the R&B, Afrobeats, Pop, Dance and Gospel genres. BELOVED, GIVĒON’s sophomore studio album, earns the Long Beach native his second ‘Best R&B Album’ nomination, following the nomination for his debut EP, TAKE TIME, in 2021. The announcement comes just one day after he performed a sold-out concert at the world-famous Madison Square Garden in New York City, the conclusion of the North American leg of his global Dear Beloved Tour. The nomination for BELOVED makes GIVĒON an eight-time GRAMMY nominee – an impressive run for the singer, who formally debuted in 2020.
TYLA makes her return to the GRAMMY ranks with a nomination for “PUSH 2 START,” the sensational hit record found on the deluxe edition of her historic debut album, TYLA+. The deluxe, released in October 2024, added three new songs to TYLA’s original 14-song tracklist, and “PUSH 2 START” proved transcendental, earning TYLA her second solo placement on the Billboard Hot 100, and her second no. 1 on the Billboard Afrobeats chart. Its oft-discussed music video, which made headlines and disrupted social media with its meticulous choreography, has surpassed 120 million views as “PUSH 2 START” continues to establish itself as one of TYLA’s signature records. TYLA’s nomination for ‘Best African Music Performance’ offers the South African megastar to secure victory in this category for the second time in three years, following her win for “Water” in 2024. Concurrently, the singer is pushing yet another one of her breakout hits to the top of the charts. “Chanel,” the empowerment anthem that has already racked up over five million YouTube views in two weeks, has landed TYLA her third no. 1 on the Billboard Afrobeats charts (her second in as many years).
The unequivocal and dominant gospel legend Yolanda Adams puts on for the genre once again with her latest nomination, for her comeback album Sunny Days. Released in February, Sunny Days marked Ms. Adams’ first full-length album since 2011’s Becoming, and her fourteenth studio album overall. Sunny Days’ nomination is the 16th for Ms. Adams—including four victories—whose reputation as the Queen of Contemporary Gospel Music and the world’s preeminent female gospel singer is only reinforced by yet another banner year. Just last year, the album’s lead single, “Church Doors,” secured a GRAMMY® nomination for ‘Best Gospel Performance.’
Zara Larsson, the Swedish sensation who’s dominated the past decade with a litany of global dance hits, earns her first-career nomination with Midnight Sun for ‘Best Dance Pop Recording.’ The 10-track album, Larsson’s fifth, is her third chart-topping album on the Swedish charts—her first since 2017—and the third of her albums to chart within the U.S. Billboard 200.
Epic also makes a special acknowledgment of off-label, GRAMMY®-recognized work by its artists. Sade’s “Young Lion” struck an unmistakable chord with listeners when it released last year in support of transgender awareness as part of non-profit Red Hot’s TRAИƧA album. Now, the legendary band, whose frontwoman Sade Adu has a transgender son named Izaak, has been recognized for their visual artistry with a special recognition ‘Best Music Video’ nomination for their contributions to the TRAИƧA campaign. Eddie Benjamin, known for his work with Meghan Trainor, Shawn Mendes, and Justin Bieber, also earns the honor as part of his inclusion in the ‘Album of the Year’ nomination for Bieber’s SWAG, the chart-topping surprise album from one of the biggest pop stars of the century. Benjamin contributed songwriting and production to three songs, including the album’s title track, “Swag,” as well as “Too Long” and “All I Can Take,” the latter of which peaked as a Top 25 hit on the Hot 100.
Epic’s commitment to musical brilliance and artistic excellence spans genres, generations, hemispheres and age demographics, and this year’s crop of nominees is a shining example. We jubilantly congratulate our artists on their successful campaigns, and look forward to another year of creating indelible cultural moments in 2026.
