The African American Leadership Development Academy provides leadership development for professionals serving North Harris County and surrounding communities. This program was designed to provide hands on training for future leaders seeking growth in areas including: education, health, cultural awareness, community development, government, business, and public safety. Participants are expected to attend monthly sessions over the course of 8 months. Sessions are held on 1st Saturday (9am – 2pm), starting in October. Application packet available June 1st.
Participants selected for the program will have met the following criteria:

Submitted a complete application packet

Provided two letters of recommendation

Demonstrated a commitment to serving the community

Paid registration fees
Tuition: Tuition is $650 which covers the cost of activities, speakers, training materials, certificate, and meals (Limited scholarships available for members).
