The Phillis Wheatley Metropolitan Alumni Association (PWMAA) will unveil and dedicate a commemorative Forever stamp for the poetess Phillis Wheatley (Peters). This stamp is the 49th in the Black Heritage series.
The ceremony will take place at Phillis Wheatley High School on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. in the school auditorium. The address is 4901 Providence Street, 77026.
