From Pupusas to Pastries: Young Chefs Can Explore Global Flavors at Fort Bend ISD Summer Day Camps
Fort Bend ISD is inviting young aspiring chefs to sharpen their culinary skills this summer through interactive Cooking Class Day Camps at the Reese Career and Technical Center (12300 University Blvd. Sugar Land, TX 77479)
The camps, designed for students in grades 1-4 and 5-8, will be held throughout June and July from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants will gain hands-on experience preparing a variety of dishes while learning kitchen safety, cooking techniques, and food preparation skills. Camp themes include Thai Curry, French Pastry, Hearty Father’s Day Breakfast, Salvadoran Pupusas, Sweet and Savory Pies, and Fourth of July Cupcake Decorating.
Registration is open, and families are encouraged to reserve a spot early as space may be limited.
