iSchool High at University Park Campus Director Bradley Sharp has been named Principal of the Year by the Texas Public Charter Schools Association (TPCSA), recognizing his leadership and commitment to creating meaningful educational opportunities for students.
Sharp received the honor Monday, Sept. 28, during the 2026 Texas Public Charter Schools Conference in Dallas, an annual gathering of charter school educators and leaders from across the state.
“It is an incredible honor to receive this recognition, but it truly reflects the work of our entire iSchool High at University Park community,” Sharp said. “Every day, our teachers and staff challenge students to recognize their potential, take ownership of their education, and prepare for what comes next. I am fortunate to lead a team that believes deeply in our students and in the opportunities we can create for them.”
As Campus Director, Sharp leads a unique early college high school model that lets students earn their high school diploma while simultaneously earning college credit. Through its partnership with Lone Star College–University Park, iSchool High provides students with an academically rigorous environment designed to prepare them for success beyond high school.
iSchool High Regional Director Luis Pratts said Sharp’s leadership exemplifies the student-centered approach that drives the success of iSchool High campuses.
“Bradley leads with a clear focus on students and a genuine commitment to the people he serves,” Pratts said. “He has built a campus culture where students are encouraged to set ambitious goals and where teachers and staff understand the important role they play in helping students reach them. Leaders like Bradley are a major part of what makes iSchool High such an exceptional place to learn.”
The recognition also reflects iSchool High’s continued commitment to developing strong campus leaders who set high expectations while ensuring students have the support and opportunities they need to succeed.
“Exceptional schools begin with exceptional leadership, and Bradley represents the kind of leadership we strive for across iSchool High,” Superintendent Robert Riggs said. “His commitment to students, his support of his staff, and his belief in the power of education are evident in the culture at University Park. We are incredibly proud to see his work recognized at the state level and grateful for the impact he continues to have on students and families.”
Sharp said the award provides an opportunity not only to celebrate the University Park campus but also to recognize the educators whose work makes its success possible.
“This recognition belongs to our teachers, staff, students and families,” Sharp said. “I am proud of what we have accomplished together, and I am even more excited about what lies ahead for our students.”
