One man was killed and four other people were injured after gunfire erupted early Sunday in the parking lot of a southeast Houston gas station, according to the Houston Police Department.
The shooting happened on Cullen Boulevard at a gathering place informally known as “Club Chevron.” Officers arriving at the crowded parking lot heard gunfire from two shooters, ABC13 reported.
Investigators said one man was pronounced dead. At least two men suffered gunshot wounds, another man was beaten during the disturbance, and detectives were still determining how the fifth victim was hurt.
No suspect description had been released by late Sunday morning. Police were seeking surveillance video and additional witness information as the investigation continued.
