Good evening NNPA Family,

It is with a heavy heart and interminable grief that I announce the passing of my father, Tommie Lee (T.L.) Wyatt, the founder and former editor of the Villager Newspaper in Austin, Texas.

‘Pops‘ passed during the 11th hour on the night of January 9th, 2026, peacefully in his sleep while in the company of family.
