What Is Racial Identity?

Is racial identity simply about skin-tone?  Individuals who profess Christianity ought to know that it has nothing to do with their skin-tone, but everything to do with their heart and mind-set. However, on Sunday mornings at the eleven o’clock worship hour is the most segregated hour in American society. The question is why is this reality? We worship the same GOD, and He created all nations out of one blood.  There are some Black individuals in high places that think like White individuals? And, we all know who they are? If they think White obviously they must act White. The Bible makes it spiritually clear: “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.” For example, we know that one size does not fit all individuals or all situations; especially in our educational institutions. Blacks have been thrown under the bus and kicked to the curb since 1619, and now the system expects Black children to be able to compete academically with White children. This is impossible and it has nothing whatsoever to do with skin-tone and racial identity, but everything to do with access to opportunities. Racial identity does not exist in the consciousness of God (mind-set), and God is the creator of all things. Why then does racial identity exist within the consciousness of human beings; especially with Christian Right Evangelicals, GOP, and White Nationalists Groups? God created all nations out of one-blood, and human beings created cultural differences. Racial identity is not biology, but sociology. More importantly, “Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ: that everyone may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.” The socio-economic-business of racial identity is a sinful pandemic that has caused untold human suffering: slavery, unfair/unjust murders and imprisonment by law enforcement constabularies, miss-education, and voter discrimination, employment discrimination, housing discrimination and health/well-being discrimination, and so on. The Deconstruction of American Democracy

Warren The State of Texas has become the model of how to kill democracy, enhance voter suppression, expand open carry gun laws in spite of mass murder at a Walmart store, ban abortions and gerrymander future election districts to reduce Black and Brown voter influence in the election of office holders. This is the state that placed bounties of $10,000 on the heads of all those aiding and abetting abortions in the state. All while reducing the number of voting sites and collection boxes for ballot returns. Add these state legislative actions to a Donald Trump-appointed majority on the United States Supreme Court, along with a Mitch McConnell bottle neck of the United States Senate’s Republican membership, and the United States has gone from a Constitutional form of government with a three branch check and balance system to a one party Congress and a President that can not get any legislation to his desk because the Senate refuses to act, just because it can. This is a Senate Republican Party that refuses to act on any legislative agenda of this President, a Democrat, just as it did with President Obama, also a Democrat. The connecting link in all this is that the parties refusing to act are mostly conservative white male and some female Republicans. Although these people, as office holders on the state and national levels, have taken an Oath of Office to protect and defend their Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, their allegiance to Donald Trump, the man, is greater than to the offices they hold. Isabelle Allende tells the story of the fight against dehumanization and enslavement in one of the greatest books of our time, “Island beneath the Sea.” The setting is Saint Domingue-18th century, now known as Haiti. At one time Haiti was the richest colony on the planet, primarily because of the brutal theft of the labor of the black enslaved people. Haiti and the islands of the Caribbean were part of the dreaded “middle passage.” Twenty million or more black people were exploited in this holocaust. Those that did not perish on the journey ended up producing sugar cane, rum, cotton and tobacco. France, the mother country felt that God had given Frenchmen the right to be masters and God had ordained the “children of Cain” to be enslaved. Haitians broke this curse by launching a bloody revolution that led to the total elimination of slavery and rule by blacks and non-whites. It was the largest slave revolt since Spartacus’s unsuccessful revolt against the Roman republic. Furthermore, if the Haitians had not defeated Napoleon and his goons, we would probably be speaking French rather than English from the Mississippi to the Pacific. We remember this from our American History class. Two weeks ago, we were distressed by witnessing the border agent on horseback using a whip to drive the Haitians back across the Rio Grande. After a two thousand mild journey mostly on foot, pregnant women, families and children braving venomous snakes and bandits, the Haitians are turned away. They fled a country that sat on a major earthquake fault line and political instability as evidenced by a recent presidential assassination and calamitous earthquakes in 2010 and 2021. In 1980 –81, I had the privilege of serving as the Director of one of the Haitian Resettlement Projects. Black and white churches took the lead in forming resettlement committees to provide a foundation for the newly arrived refugees. Our elected and civilian leadership embraced the moral mandate and urged private and governmental leaders to support the resettlement. Useful Idiots

For ungodly reasons too many Americans are losing their ability to critically think and analyze. Consequently, these individuals are becoming useful idiots who allow others to do their thinking, and that’s a dangerous proposition. God has spiritually admonished all individuals to not allow confused-sinful minds to make you a Useful Idiot, because: “If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed, and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” The loss of critical thinking skills engenders emotional-irrationality as well as the desire to possess undeserved external power. Question: is this why the GOP has lost its way (moral compass)? Power for the sake of power is insanity to the nth degree!  Historically, there have been numerous religious useful idiots. For example, Adam and Eve’s disobedience of God’s spiritual command. Cain’s killing of his brother Abel: “Am I my brother’s keeper?”   Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus Christ with an ungodly kiss on the cheek for thirty pieces of silver.  Delilah’s betrayal of Sampson for money and power by opening up a barbershop, and giving Sampson an ungodly haircut, and of course, Sampson’s betrayal of God and himself by walking by sight, and not FAITH. Modern day Useful Idiots: (a) Benedict Arnold who betrayed America during the Revolutionary War, (b) General Michael Flynn who betrayed America for a Russian Oligarch, power, money and misguided loyalty to a want-to-be-dictator (POTUS #45). And, POTUS #45 who sought to destroy American democracy for power and self-aggrandizement on January 6. The greatest power in the world is the power that exists within individuals (GOD/TRUTH), and their ability to resist the ungodly impulses of becoming a Useful Idiot. The Mendacity of the GOP

Christian Right Evangelicals, GOP, and White Nationalists stand for nothing righteous, and everything unrighteous. The very mendacity of the GOP to morally question the Biden Administration’s disengagement from a twenty year “messy” war in Afghanistan after never holding former President Trump accountable for any action or in action.  America does have a formal check and balance system that the Founders instituted in our democratic processes to guard against governmental corruption. Moreover, we do not need to discuss the impeachment procedures and processes or the provable evidence against President Trump. Nor do we need to discuss the number of corrupt Trump officials who were indicted, convicted, and sentenced to jail. Or the number of elected GOP officials who supported the BIG LIE and may have legal complicity in the January 6th, 2021 insurrection. Now, the GOP is huffing and puffing concerning America’s withdrawal from Afghanistan seeking to create a political issue; where there is no issue in order to reposition their “non-policy” oriented party for the mid-term elections. America, if this is not the essence of immoral “mendacity,” then what is? Even more so, they have openly begun to sublimely change the GOP to the White Privilege (Nationalists) Party and in so doing, establish an autocracy by destroying democracy. Sadly, Christian Right Evangelicals are wholeheartedly supporting this process religiously by saying Lord, Lord, and running with the devil. America, know this religion that is based upon culture and man-made “isms” rather than a search for God (TRUTH) is confusion, not Judaea-Christianity. The GOP is seeking to make the carnal mind normality, and legalize all things of man; which in turn, is not of GOD. Scripture states: “For to be carnal minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” (Romans 8: 6-8). Democracy: Voting Rights

Voting rights is the moral-order cornerstone of democracy, because without voting rights/civil rights democracy does not exist. This is precisely why voting rights should never be about partisan politics, but the preservation of democratic principles of governance. Congresswoman Liz Cheney and Congressman Adam Kinzinger recognized and understood the dangers of former President Trump’s “Big Lie.” Yet, without shame, they voted in lock step with all other GOP Representatives against the John Lewis Voting Rights Act: shameful. Of course, the John Lewis Voting Rights Act is not radicalized legislation; it is only designed to strengthen the Voting Rights Act of 1965, because of Trump’s “Big Lie.” Hence, voter suppression is an unlawful attempt on the part of White Privilege oriented Whites to nullify Black and minority citizen’s voter rights, and consequently, circumvents true multi-racial democracy. Moreover, voting rights and economic justice are flip-sides of the same coin. Voting Rights is not political neither Democratic Party or Republican Party partisan politics; but it is American democracy, chosen by the people, of the people, and for the people: one person, one vote. Christian Right Evangelicals, The GOP, and White Nationalist Groups are mentally tripping-out, because minorities are becoming the majority population. These White Privilege oriented groups do not want to lose perceived socio-economic privilege over the economic structure of American society. What they fail to understand is that only a small minority of White Privilege oriented males control and will always control the pros and cons of the system. Know this: the system works for the system that is the individuals that control the system. Fear not White Privilege oriented Americans; it is highly unlikely that Blacks and other minorities will ever control the socio-economic system-structure of American society. Before we go full bore on President Joe Biden, let’s consider the impact of receiving soldiers remains in flag draped caskets and consoling the bereaved families. Going to D.C. for the majesty and splendor of the African American Museum or the Smithsonian is a lot different from viewing the graves at Arlington cemetery of thousands of fallen American boys and girls.  Old corrupt men sent many of these young men to fight and die in wars that were not in our national interest nor national honor. Maybe, we all need to be lacerated by our consciences for the American people are responsible for the looming human rights catastrophe. The carnage facing thousands of Afghan interpreters and supporters was preventable. That is, proper and prior preparation prevents piss poor performance. How could the intelligence be so far wrong? A Taliban takeover of the country was calculated to be 6 months away. If the facts hold, the intelligence led us into a blind alley and now the cost in lives will be unconscionable. America has seen this before, Saigon Vietnam 1975.  Our allies panicked and stormed the last helicopter out. McGeorge Bundy and General Westmoreland had given the President bad intelligence after American B 52’s had helped to kill a million Vietnamese. Young men that could not spell Communism were put into a no-win situation in rice paddies of Vietnam. After paying keen attention to the shining black prince, Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali prepared the way for Kaepernick and others to redefine patriotism by refusing to be inducted into the US Army. As defined by President Obama, American boys were fighting a “war of necessity” in Afghanistan following the NYC  9-11 World Trade Center attacks that were orchestrated by twisted Maestro Ben Laden. In both cases there was American military superiority as measured by 300,000 soldiers to an estimated 75,000 Taliban in Afghanistan.  It is worthy to note that creditable intel reports that up to 100,000 Afghan soldiers had deserted and that government thieves looted the funding for resupply and other logistics. Nothing is impossible for God, because if God is carrying you on his back then why drag your feet in sin. God is an ever-present help, and if He does not come when you think that you need him the most, He is always on time. God is an on-time God, not a sometime God. Martha asked, “Jesus if you had been here, then my brother, Lazarus, would not have died.” Jesus spiritually comforted Martha by declaring: “Thy brother shall rise again”. Martha replied, “I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.” Then, Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection, and the life, he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?” Jesus said, “Lazarus Come Forth”! Without rules and laws human beings are only another form of animal life. God is the answer, not man or guns, harsh words, evil deeds, violence, Christian Right Evangelicals, Politicians or White Nationalists. What every human being needs is to know and have a personal-relationship with the Lawgiver: GOD. Even when human beings sin against God, self and others, God makes provisions for the forgiveness of their sins and the healing their land: “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” For over twenty years America helped Afghanistan attempt to overcome the leadership influences of the Taliban on their society, and it was all to no avail. The Big GOP Walkout

The Big GOP Walkout is coming just as the sun rises in the East and Sets in the West. The five GOP members appointed by the minority leader, Kevin McCarthy, voted against the impeachment of President Trump both times when the empirical evidence was clear and convening that he was a chronic habitual liar, and had broken every time-honored established Presidential protocol. Moreover, these five individuals agreed with the Big Lie-Big Steal that the Presidential election of Biden was fraudulent, and they still believed the lie. Sadly, these five GOP House Representatives voted against a (911) style commission to investigate the origin and organizers of an overthrow of the U. S. Government. No doubt about it, they will “walk-out” screaming ungodly accusations that the investigation is a biased witch-hunt designed to discredit former President Trump, and to steal 2022 House and Senate elections. America, get ready, get ready, get ready. The big walk out will be a national fundraising strategy oriented toward a “Get Out the Vote Campaign”, and at the same time, designed to protect the good name of former 45th President. Question: what good name? It is written: “A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour than silver or gold.” At the same time, the world knows that former President Trump has committed despicable immoral acts for the love of money. Despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary most individuals believe that money solves all problems and brings happiness, but it is written: “The love of money is the root of all evil:” Christian Right Evangelicals was once called the moral majority. Now, they have become faithful workers of iniquity seeking to substitute one sin for another sin; when it is all sin, and an abomination to God. Someone please inform GOP Loyalists that: “The house of the wicked shall be overthrown: but the tabernacle of the upright shall flourish.”  There is a way that may seem right to the GOP, and offer different options, but the end thereof will be the demise of the Grand Ole Party.
