Naval Academy Removes Nearly 400 DEI-Related Books, Including Maya Angelou’s Memoir

In compliance with a directive from Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Naval Academy’s Nimitz Library has removed approximately 400 books addressing diversity, equity, and inclusion topics, including Maya Angelou’s “I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings.”
