Money is a cruel master, and “the love of money is the root of all evil, which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.” (1 Timothy 6: 10). Despite a preponderance of empirical evidence most individuals believe that money brings lasting happiness. Believe me, above all, trust me, President Trump and Elon Musk the richest man on planet earth are not happy campers, because it is spiritually written: “He who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor he who loves abundance with its income. This too is vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 5: 10).

Far too many Americans are now declaring this is not what they voted for! Of course, naively they voted for it, thinking it would only affect others. President Trump told the entire world community precisely his chaotic intentions in Project 2025, revenge to the nth degree. Hence, President Trump is driven by two devilish principles selfish money making and pay-back (revenge), because he does not understand: “Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I WILL REPAY”, says the Lord.” (Romans 12: 19). The most effective approach to countering negative actions is by consistently demonstrating positive behavior.

No doubt about it, President Trump and his MAGA-Cult followers are some of the most negative individuals in America. This is why the wisest man chronicled in the Bible, King Solomon, said: “The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.” (Proverbs 21: 16). Individuals can bribe each other, but individuals cannot bribe God. King Solomon wisely said, “Whoever guards their mouth and tongue keeps themselves from trouble.” (Proverbs 21: 23).

The greatest need of every individual is to be loved as well as to love others: The Two Great Commandments. Hence, loving material things that cannot love you in return is a foolish lifestyle proposition. This is why God only desires love and obedience, not religious rituals. America, money is neutral. Money only has the value that individuals attach to it. Unfortunately, secular society because of the external materialistic value orientation of far too many Americans invariably seek to position money as godlike in character. Hence, we place on America’s currency system: “In God We Trust”. Sublimely suggesting that money is God. America, money is only a societal medium of exchange for the necessities of life: food, clothing, and shelter.

On the other hand, far too many Americans view money as a means of pursuing and purchasing vanity (happiness), and end-up with untold anxiety concerning life. Jesus has a spiritual cure for anxiety recorded in the Gospel of Matthew: “For this reason I say to you, do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink: nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6: 25). Eating for pleasure is a deadly graveyard lifestyle habit. Purchasing/hoarding an overabundance of clothing will keep you in credit card debt.

Therefore, God desires that we financially plan for tomorrow, not worry about tomorrow, because: “Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24: 34-35). Amen.
