The Aldine PreK Festival took place Saturday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Blanson Career and Technical Education High School. The event ensured families learned about the District’s award-winning early education programs and resources that are available to their families and children. It was also a great opportunity to enroll eligible 4-year-olds in prekindergarten.

Recently, the Prairie View Chapter of Top Ladies and Top Teens stepped it up a notch for “Heart Month”, as the organization honored the First Ladies of area churches. By honoring both the First Ladies and Heart Month, the Top Ladies and Top Teens were able to fulfill three of its five thrust namely, the Status of Women, Community Partnerships and Senior Citizens through the Go Red event.
