I could not agree with him more, which is why it never ceases to amaze me how so many of our Black folks got all of these opinions about any and everything. But what bothers me the most about these opinionated folk is, many of them have the wrong opinions about the wrong things.
It’s almost Christmas time. What are your plans? Are you excited? I realize as time goes on that Christmas never gets old but, I am getting older. Old enough to know the truth about old St. Nick but, I still share in the excitement of the holiday’s nonetheless.

I have been reading the book Becoming by former first lady Michelle Obama. Almost halfway through, the book has been compelling, interesting, informative, reflective, and just pure excellence. Michelle Obama is thorough, honest, and amazing in the story she has to tell. It is her story, through her own voice.
Mack was gunned down outside the school on Nov. 13, in what police described as one of the latest killings in an ongoing gang war. But hold up! What about black schools? The same ones, that have been dealing with gang violence, since before the mayor started his term.
It broke my heart to hear about the Lamar High School student who was shot to death outside of his school. It has been said that his death was gang related. According to the United States Department of Justice, “most participants in gang crimes tend to be young, male and either Black or Hispanic.” Why is this?
Our American voters are like a sports team on a winning streak, the momentum that is created by success has given them new confidence and hope. These American voters are speaking with strength and togetherness on the essential important issues that we are dealing with at this time.
The purpose of this meeting was to identify which pastors reside within the Aldine community and establish a partnership with the ministerial community. There are many students who attend the various churches that are located in the Aldine community, so a collaboration would be beneficial to Aldine, the students, and their families.
With the Democrats winning the U.S. House of Congress in the recent 2018 mid- term elections, the statement has been made that America is speaking back to Trump and letting him know, “We the people” are coming together.
