Through Erica’s Eyes: Introducing Miss Celeste Darensburg, HairJunkee and Up & Coming Platform Artist

GALVESTON- Art encompasses a wide range of human activities, creations, and expressions that are a direct reflection of human emotions and experiences. Traditionally, Art Techniques include Music, Painting, Sculptures, and Literature to name some. In addition, if anything is done technically well, owing to innate skills, or learnt by study and practice, it is said to be an Art such as, Cosmotology. In effect, we can say that Artistry is a sum of Art Techniques employed to bring out the Beauty, Taste, and the Symbolism of an artwork preferibly hairstyles. Art also illustrates abstract thoughts and expressions.
Aptly put by Leo Tolstoy, “Art is not a handicraft. It is the transmission of feelings the artist has experienced.” Introducing “The HairJunkee, Celeste Darensburg, first place winner of “Best of Both Worlds” Hairshow and future feature in the upcoming Lucas Hair Magazine. Darensburg started doing hair five years ago and has been in love with it ever since. Originally from Galveston, but raised in Houston, Texas, she graduated in 2008 from the Texas Barber College. Darensburg aspires to be a beautician who travels from coast to coast and internationally demonstrating her skills in front of audiences in order to sell the various products that she wishes to represent, and continue to work towards her dream by training hard and developing stage presence and a winning smile. She is definitely the next World traveled and accomplished, platform artist, as she is known within the industry, built her foundation within varied and high profile areas. A platform artist also educates fellow cosmetologists, aspiring stylists and others about what is new and innovative in the beauty industry.
