HOUSTON- On December 15, 1971, God blessed loving parents Charles and Brenda Morrow with a beautiful baby girl. Tanya received her formal education from the local schools in Houston, Texas and graduated from Jack Yates High School. She later went on to attend the school of mortuary science. With the blessing of being raised in a loving, Christian home, Tanya was christened and grew up as a member of BeBee Tabernacle C.M.E. As an adult, she became a member of St. John’s United Methodist Church. Tanya dedicated herself to the service of others in her posts at Johnson Funeral Home and Houston Memorial Gardens. Tanya was a loving mother to three beautiful daughters, who were the center of her life.
Her smile was vibrant and could not go unnoticed. Everything about her life will be deeply missed and her memory will forever be with us. On Friday, May 4, 2012, Tanya Denise Morrow was called home and passed away into the loving arms of the Lord. She was preceded in death by her brother, Heath Levan Morrow and her grandparents, John and Vivian Morrow and James and Elease Randle. She leaves a legacy of love and unforgettable memories with her father, Charles Morrow, Sr.; mother, Brenda Randle Morrow; grandmother, Mildred Shepherd; three daughters, Jasmine, Jadelyn and Jerrin Morrow; five surviving siblings, Kim Morrow, Charles Morrow, Jr. (Lesa), Patty Green (Robert), Isaac Morrow and LaQuita Morrow; seven nephews and four nieces; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
