HOUSTON – On March 7–9, the Metamorphosis Women’s Conference Inc. will kick off its 11th annual Metamorphosis Women’s Empowerment Conference to be held at The Fountain of Praise, 13950 Hillcroft Ave. Houston, TX 77085. Founded in 2000, by Pastor Mia Wright, the Metamorphosis Conference Inc.’s mission is to redefine, renew, rebuild, rejoice and restore women from around the globe.
A conference that is known to welcome nationally recognized leaders annually, this year’s conference speakers include: Pastor Mia K. Wright of The Fountain of Praise, Reverend Dr. Jazz Sculark of Shiloh Baptist Church-Philadelphia and Pastor Sheryl Brady of The Potter’s House of North Dallas. Most notably, celebrity attorney and TV personality, Star Jones, will serve as the keynote speaker for the Metamorphosis Empowerment Session.
Star Jones, also an accomplished author of the best selling non-fiction book titled “You Have to Stand for Something, will give an empowering message to uplift many women on March 8th at 7pm.
METAMORPHOSIS GLOBAL CONFERENCE & MISSIONS: In alignment with the non-profit organization’s powerful mission, Metamorphosis is proud to announce the Metamorphosis Global Conference and Missions scheduled to take off in 2012. The Metamorphosis International Conferences are scheduled for July 2012 in Brazil and March 2013 in South Africa.
METAMORPHOSIS COMPASSION PROJECT: During the conference, the Metamorphosis Compassion Project partners with transitional living centers to provide fifty (50) deserving women a day of pampering that includes makeovers, hairstyles, clothing, and gifts on the “Compassion Day.” All professional services are donated and are complimentary to the women. META 2 TEEN LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE: Metamorphosis Conference Inc. mentors teen girls from the ages of 12-18 through the Meta2 Teen Leadership Institute. The Meta2Girls program instills self-esteem, life principles and leadership skills in teen girls through a myriad of enriching experiences, empowerment seminars, interactive group activities, peer to peer mentoring, panel discussions and more. This event will be held on March 10th.
