HOUSTON- The Sisters Network-Bayou City Chapter will host a Gift for Life Block Walk on Saturday, October 27th, from 9am-2pm, at the Sunnyside Community Center, located at 3502 Bellfort. Registration begins at 8:25am. The fee is $15 which includes lunch and a t-shirt. Breast Cancer Survivors along with volunteers will canvas door-to-door in the Sunnyside Community to distribute breast health educational information and a resource list.
They will also offer free mammograms, by appointment only. To qualify, you must be 35 years of age or older, have no current breast symptoms or problems, not currently nursing or pregnant, have no breast implants, and have not been diagnosed with breast cancer within the past 2 years.
