HOUSTON – Don Albert Nelms was born to the union of the late Mr. Bee Henry Nelms, Sr. and Mrs. Jessie Lee Nelms on April 9, 1944 in Houston, Texas. Of this union, there were eight children and he was the youngest. He confessed to Christ at an early age and was baptized at St. Andrews United Methodist Church. He attended the Aldine Independent School District and then went on the become self-employed in the Lawn & Carpentry Business.

He was also admired for barbecuing and making sure that others ate no matter the ciccumstance and more than that, he was always avaiable to help those in need, He had a very big heart. Don will be missed by friends and family whose lives he touched.
