“Slide to the right, slide to the left, criss-cross, criss-cross” yes the lyrics of the famous Cha-Cha Slide song, by DJ Casper is actually what President Obama is doing, the Cha-Cha dance. He is not giving a rat ass about Gay folks getting married, being happy, raising healthy children or being a good American citizen. In his first campaign, he had me sold. As a beautiful Black proud female, Liberal Republican, I actually believed him.
But when the kitchen got hot for Gay Rights, he hid behind Michelle’s skirt tail. Yet, he frequently comes out and voices his opinion on the NBA basketball games, racial crimes and the love of beer!
Cha-Cha Sliding since 1996 for the Gay support and then opposed it in 2000 and now back again for the 2012 election.
Folks are mad about the Obama’s health care plan, their taxes have risen, employment rate is sky high, gas prices are ridiculous; the suffering from home owners, young adults still dying for an endless war, children still failing in school and teachers are the ones that are getting blamed. It is simply just too much to handle for the American people no matter what you claim as your political party or claim nothing at all.
Don’t get me wrong, I am glad that my son and I got to witness a Black man, a brother from the mother land being voted in as the President of our extraordinary country. But do I want to see him in office again? I was talking to some of my Democratic friends from all races and they said, “Hell No!” because they have not seen any real significant difference and they are way richer than I am.
Folks you should know by now, that I am an advocate for “Human Rights” I am not to particularly fond of the phrase “Gay Rights” because it targets an area of people in a negative way and I am not about kicking folks in the teeth about their beliefs.
What you do in your bedroom is fine by me. Just keep it low key like anything else, all that kissing and inappropriate behavior in public. I do not like it from heterosexuals or homosexuals; keep that in your bedroom. You wish to dress like a woman, do it in a fashionable manner and I swear we will get along fine.
But back to the subject in hand: President Obama doing this Cha-Cha dance is becoming tiresome and I wish he would make up his mind and keep it that way, no matter what. It is not fair to be wishy-washy to the American people! We deserve better treatment! We deserve better respect, no matter what color, religion, political group or who we sleep with; we are ALL still valuable voters.
