Miss Forever P.E.A.R.L. 2014

cover17PLANO- Recently, Pearl Young was crowned Miss Forever P.E.A.R.L. 2014. Twenty-seven contestants, ranging in age from 4-15 years old, competed for the title.  The pageant was held at the Plano Courtyard and Theater in Plano, Texas.  This pageant is an Inner- Beauty Pageant that teaches principles.  It is open to girls ages 4- 15 of any race, size, shape, or height.

Pearl Young performed her own original dramatic speech entitled, “What is Real Beauty?”  Pearl Young is the daughter of Valerie and Marvin Sutton and Herman Young.  She is a 7th grader at Young Women’s Leadership Academy in Ft. Worth.  Pearl is actively involved in Girls, Inc., Girl Scouts, and gives her time to St. Jude’s, Cooks Children’s Hospital, and the Humane Society of North Texas.
