HOUSTON- Forty  of Hoffman Middle School’s  students, under the direction of Charlotte Davis, participated in the Annual National Houston Bar Association Mock Trial at the Harris County Civil Courthouse.  The purpose of the mock trial is to educate the youth of America about our legal system, our jurisprudence and the work of our attorneys.  The court case Hoffman students presented was regarding the murder of a high school football player.  Hoffman students memorized all of their lines and performed the trial excellently.  The Houston Bar Association representative complimented the Hoffman students.  She commented that not only was Hoffman Middle School student’s performance the best she had witnessed, but they were also the most well-behaved students she had overseen in her 11 years sponsoring Mock Trial.  Hats off to all of the Hornets performing in the mock trial.
