HOUSTON –The Rev. Fred Sanders, Pastor of Cliffdale Baptist Church located at 854 Enterprise, and the congregation hosted a Revival 2012 “Standing on the Shoulders of Our Forefathers.” The opening services began on March. 5 – 9 with a list of esteem Pastors in the city of Houston. Pastor C. Campbell of Bright Star B.C, Pastor R. Kent of Cathedral of Life, Pastor Peavey of Yorkdale M.B.C, Pastor Rutledge of Mt. Ararat B.C, Pastor Cortez of Greater Faith B.C., Pastor Jackson of New Jerusalem, Pastor S. Williams of Star Bethel MBC, and Pastor F. N. Williams of Antioch MBC.

African-American News&Issues had the privilege to attend a night of increased spiritual interest, renewal and “Bringing the People and the Church Back to Christ” with revivalist Pastor C. Meachum of Starlight MBC and Pastor J. Meachum of New Birth. The theme for the revival was “Standing on the Shoulders of Our Forefathers” which also prepared the congregation for the upcoming Easter season.
